Hi, I'm Lauren, owner of Bose Family Studios. Our shop is truly a family effort. I design and create all of our toys, my husband provides feedback and professional photography, and our children act as playtesters and model the toys in action. Every item is tested by real kids before it appears in our shop.
My journey to starting Bose Family Studios was anything but direct. After spending my first few years of motherhood balancing a corporate career and two young children, I decided to shift gears. I wanted a business that would support my family life, not compete with it.
One holiday season, I became curious about how wooden toys were made. That curiosity led me to buy a small desktop laser and begin learning about woodworking and toy design. With encouragement from my family and help from two eager testers, Bose Family Studios was born.
Today, I focus on creating toys that are educational, entertaining, and safe. We are a CPSC-registered Small Batch Manufacturer, and all of our products meet CPSC safety standards. I use only natural paints and finishes that are certified free from BPA, phthalates, VOCs, and other harmful chemicals.
As a parent, I want my children to experience the simple joys of childhood. I choose toys made from natural materials like wood and cotton and encourage creative, open-ended play. Even as my kids grow and explore new interests, I keep designing toys that invite them to imagine, build, and have fun.
